  3. Join Preble County 4-H Today!

    Who can join?

    Eligibility for 4-H membership begins when a child is enrolled in kindergarten and is age 5 as of January 1 of the current year (Cloverbuds).  Membership to the 4-H club program begins when a child is enrolled in 3rd grade and is at least 8 as of January 1 of the current year.  Any youth age 9 or above is eligible for project membership, regardless of grade level.  Ohio 4-H membership ends December 31 of the year in which an individual attains the age of 19.

  6. 2018 Preble County Fair DNA Policy

    The Preble County Sr. & Jr. Fair board will begin implementing, in 2018, a new DNA tissue sample policy. DNA tissue samples will be mandatory and taken from the following species. Sheep, Goats, Feeder Calves, and Swine beginning this year.   7. Veterinary Feed Directive

    You may be aware that starting January 1, 2017, you can no longer stop by a feed store and buy medicated feed containing certain types of antibiotics that were previously classified as over-the-counter (OTC) drugs.  As of January 1, 2017 the FDA requires that clients have a VFD to be able to purchase animal feeds containing these anitbiotics.  For more information please click the following link and read the OSU Extension Veterinary Feed...
